New in 2020

Like previous years, in 2020 the MAS has a lot to offer in 2020 with impressive Congolese art, a V-bomb in the pavilion, boats in the boulevard and a new interpretation of the viewing depot.

MAS-collection on the Belgian coast

The NAVIGO Fisheries Museum in Oostduinkerke reopened its doors on 7 September 2024. The MAS gave some remarkable pieces on loan.

Actual loans

Many museums in Belgium and abroad are eager to borrow works from the MAS. So you can come across objects from the MAS collection at exhibitions all over the world.

FREE ENTRANCE | The Visible Storage gives you a look behind the scenes of the MAS. More than 180,000 collection pieces on tall racks, stacked and labelled, await their turn to be exhibited.
