Cultural objects from Ancient Egypt in the MAS collection remain highly sought-after loans. The MAS is now lending five objects featuring depictions of women for a temporary exhibition at the Musée du Malgré-Tout focusing on women in Ancient Egypt.

A unique collection of vessels

The MAS manages the largest collection of historical vessels in the country. For years, it was displayed under the shelters next to Het Steen, but after a spectacular relocation operation, the vessels found a new home at the Dry Docks site.

100 X Congo features one hundred highlights. What stories are hidden behind the objects? How did they end up here? What did they mean to Congolese peoples?
