Thousands of unique images from photographer Raoul Van Den Boom show the artistic and social life in Antwerp between 1950 and 1980. Some photographs from the immense collection are now on display, some others can be viewed digitally.

FREE ENTRANCE | The Visible Storage gives you a look behind the scenes of the MAS. More than 180,000 collection pieces on tall racks, stacked and labelled, await their turn to be exhibited.
FREE ENTRANCE | Discover ‘Tatreez’ (Palestinian embroidery) in the Visible Storage. Historical pieces from the MAS collection are displayed alongside contemporary creations. The presentation shows how this centuries-old embroidery tradition is much more than just decoration on textiles.
As of October 30, 2021, the price of admission to the MAS will change. We will bring it in line with those of domestic and foreign museums. At the same time, the discount policy will be adjusted and become more transparent.
Students will discover the traces that the world has left in Antwerp and the traces that Antwerp has left in the rest of the world, thanks to the port.
