BACH in de STAD at the MAS

In Bach's masterpiece “ERBARME DICH” (from the St. Matthew Passion BWV 244) there is a universal call for compassion, a plea for pity and forgiveness. With this concert, BACH in de STAD wants to reflect on the vulnerability of human beings and the power of compassion.

For the exhibition “Enchantd by gold” the MAS, in collaboration with the Flemish Community, lent eight gold objects, all from the Paul & Dora Janssen-Arts collection. The expo highlights the role of gold in different cultures around the world.
