MAS acquires LGBTQ+ heritage

The MAS has been able to get hold of a few pieces from gay bar Café Strange at an auction. This way, a bit of the bar of Antwerp's icon and café owner Armand in the Dambruggestraat is preserved for the future.

Brabofountain to museum DIVA

This unique silver showpiece is one of the permanent loans to DIVA. It is a copy of the Brabofountain in Antwerp's Grote Markt. The bronze statues on a rock of basalt stones were executed in silver and set on a rock of amethyst.

19th century dollhouse

In preparation for the family exhibition Anybody home?, the MAS had a 19th-century wooden dollhouse restored. The house and its furnishings were carefully refurbished.
