Cool Japan

The MAS exhibit, 'Cool Japan', took you on a whirlwind tour of the global fascination for Japanese visual culture with icons such as Hello Kitty, Zelda and Sailor Moon.

Stories by pupils

Together with parents and the MAS, arts organisation De Veerman organises an annual writing competition for primary school pupils called 'De Wondere Pluim'. Children get to write a story inspired by an object from our collection.

Sacred Places, Sacred Books

CLOSED - ‘Sacred Places, Sacred Books’ brought Rome, Mecca and Jerusalem to Antwerp. You discovered the differences and similarities between Judaism, Christianity and Islam. More than 200 works of art, historical and religious treasures were on display.
