A hundred years ago, Antwerp organised the Olympic Games. In spite of the difficult post-war situation and limited financial resources, the Games were groundbreaking. This mini exhibition includes posters, photos, trophies and medals from the sports event and its participants.

Migrants on deck

Photographs show the people involved and the circumstances surrounding their emigration. Consequently, photography is an important source of information for the story of the Red Star Line.

Objects in the exhibition

Except for a dozen or so loans, all the pieces on display in the exhibition come from the MAS collection. The objects have been chosen for what they portray, their significance or their (historical) story.

CLOSED - The exhibition immersed the visitor in the ideas of the world famous architect Le Corbusier (1887-1965), but did also let them saunter through the streets of Chandigarh and gave them a look behind Linkeroever’s façades.
