At the foot of the MAS in Antwerp you will find Portopolis, a free interactive visitor centre. Here you can discover the port of Antwerp in the heart of the city. Put on a VR visor for a 360° tour and feel the port come to life! Walk across the large aeriel photograph and discover all special hotspots on offer in our port.
The MAS exhibit, 'Cool Japan', took you on a whirlwind tour of the global fascination for Japanese visual culture with icons such as Hello Kitty, Zelda and Sailor Moon.
Fancy a free high-level city tour? The escalators of the Boulevard will take you nine storeys high. Along the way you will enjoy a constantly changing view of the city. And right up on the roof, you can see the whole city.
The MAS keeps an extensive and important collection of historical tokens and coins, among which these three masterpieces. They were made for the guilds or trades. These were professional and interest associations led by a dean elected by the members.
Young creative talents of the artistic laboratory "Het Bos" investigate Kruithof objects, experiment with them and invent stories. BOSLABS creates an interactive installation that shows its quirky take on "The Value of Things."
