The MAS is and remains a place for young people, where every visit is a unique experience. Here, you can experiment and challenge yourself. We are always curious about young people's fresh ideas and creative vibes.

A superb collection awaits you at the MAS. A collection about the global connectedness between people and with respect for diverse ways of thinking and living. But the most important work of art lies at your feet: the city. Borrow a picnic blanket at the counter and enjoy the view of Antwerp in style, 60 meters above the ground.

MAS in young hands 2006 - 2018, a retrospective

In this brochure, the MAS looks back on the process of MAS in Young Hands and shares all its experiences. A complete overview of its know-how is available online and free of charge.

'MAS in Young Hands' publications

Since 2006, the museum has been researching methodologies for youth participation in museums. 2 analyses formed the basis for 'MAS in Jonge Handen'. After the 'Instinct' exhibition in 2019, the MAS looked back on the process and shared all its experiences in a brochure.

CLOSED - The youth crew of the MAS took over a floor of the museum. A unique exhibition revealed the animal side of the museum collection, with creative materials and a wild programme.
