Just beyond the MAS lies the dry dock site: nine non active dry docks, former workshops for ship repairers, a pump house which is now a protected monument ... It now houses the MAS vessel collection.
The ancient glass collection is one of the hidden gems at the MAS. It's part of a valuable glass collection numbering nearly 700 objects. For the first time the subcollection of ancient glass is published in a comprehensive catalogue.

In the playful new family exhibition "Anybody home?" you will explore the MAS collection together with your (grand) children. You reflect on what a 'home' means. Cultural objects from Ancient Egypt in the MAS collection remain highly sought-after loans. The MAS is now lending five objects featuring depictions of women for a temporary exhibition at the Musée du Malgré-Tout focusing on women in Ancient Egypt.
