The MAS leans on the continuous generosity of our donors in order to ensure that the museum can continue to enable all visitors to experience culture.

Young creative talents of the artistic laboratory "Het Bos" investigate Kruithof objects, experiment with them and invent stories. BOSLABS creates an interactive installation that shows its quirky take on "The Value of Things."

A digital talk with author Julian Sancton about his book and the intrepid explorers of the Belgica.

Luc Tuymans. Glasses

For the exhibition "Glasses", Luc Tuymans looks back at his oeuvre thematically for the first time. It includes portraits, of ‘nameless people’ and historic figures, and other works. The leitmotiv is a ‘pair of glasses’.

Freight

In 'Freight' you stop at various 'docks', each of which reveals a different part of the city's connection with world trade. A journey through the history of the port city. On view on the 6th floor.

Collection items to the Fisheries Museum

The NAVIGO Fisheries Museum in Oostduinkerke reopened its doors on 7 September 2024. The MAS gave some remarkable pieces on loan.
