A look at research

The MAS preserves culturally and historically sensitive Congolese heritage that today numbers nearly 5,000 cultural objects. MAS staff, together with Congolese colleagues, are investigating the circumstances under which this collection disappeared from Congo. The first results of the study will be on display in the Visible Storage.

Monstera Deliciosa and Kane Stonestreet will provide the square in front of the MAS with living trans iconography. They will be using found materials and improvised body movements to continuously construct and deconstruct themselves and each other.
