A treasure hunt in the museum

Children aged 5 to 10, together with their (grand)parents, search for animals in the museum. Along the way, they are given all kinds of assignments.

Sacred Places, Sacred Books

CLOSED - ‘Sacred Places, Sacred Books’ brought Rome, Mecca and Jerusalem to Antwerp. You discovered the differences and similarities between Judaism, Christianity and Islam. More than 200 works of art, historical and religious treasures were on display.

Stargazing on the roof

On Thursday evenings during school holidays, you can come and gaze at the stars for free on the roof of the MAS. Observatory Urania will provide a telescope.

The exhibition explores what it means to live together and meet one another. What it means to be allowed to truly be yourself—in your own body, in your relationships with others, in public, and behind closed doors. An exhibition that shows how these themes, even today, are not publicly accepted or accessible for everyone.
