Music builds a bridge with the world of our memories and feelings. We can be brought back to another moment in our lives by certain chords or notes in a song. With A Playlist, we want to consciously use and share this power.
We create a playlist with music and stories of Antwerp citizens. The participants put the song and the memory that goes with it on the list. This playlist will be launched during the Dia de los Muertos on 25 October in the MAS, and will be further expanded in the following years.
Together we will shape the soundtrack of our city. The sacrifice = the aural memory of a city.
