In Bach's masterpiece 'ERBARME DICH' (from the St. Matthew Passion BWV 244) there is a universal cry for compassion, a plea for pity and forgiveness. This emotional core fits seamlessly with the theme of the exhibition 'Compassion'.
With this concert, BACH in de STAD wants to reflect on the vulnerability of human beings and the power of compassion.
