Breaking Boundaries

Antwerp Olympic city

A hundred years ago, Antwerp organised the Olympic Games. In spite of the difficult post-war situation and limited financial resources, the Games were groundbreaking. This mini exhibition includes posters, photos, trophies and medals from the sports event and its participants.

Martial Arts

A new expo that immerses you in the rich world of martial arts. Antwerp has a very rich history of martial arts that still evolves with the city today. Together with Sporting A, ErfgoedLab delved into the Antwerp world of martial arts and collected many personal stories and objects.

Le Corbusier. Linkeroever – Chandigarh

CLOSED - The exhibition immersed the visitor in the ideas of the world famous architect Le Corbusier (1887-1965), but did also let them saunter through the streets of Chandigarh and gave them a look behind Linkeroever’s façades.

Luc Tuymans. Glasses

For the exhibition "Glasses", Luc Tuymans looks back at his oeuvre thematically for the first time. It includes portraits, of ‘nameless people’ and historic figures, and other works. The leitmotiv is a ‘pair of glasses’.
