Every year in October, the Altar of Antwerp returns to the MAS. It's an interactive installation through which we reflect on what "loss" means to the city's inhabitants.

A PLAYLIST

This year, we are creating the city's playlist for the Altar of Antwerp. This playlist will consist of songs that city residents bring in. Each song is linked to a moment, a person or a feeling that the participant wants to evoke.

New admission prices

Starting from 30.10.2021

As of October 30, 2021, the price of admission to the MAS will change. We will bring it in line with those of domestic and foreign museums. At the same time, the discount policy will be adjusted and become more transparent.

‘100 x Congo’ wins the 'International Exhibition of the Year’ award

We are very proud to announce that the exhibition '100 x Congo. A century of Congolese art in Antwerp' has been chosen as 'International exhibition of the year' by the British Museums & Heritage Awards.

What can be heritage? What has value and what does not? A photo exhibition explores these questions. It shows the people behind the city's heritage. An exhibition with online  stories, starting 10 September 2021 in the boulevard.
