CLOSED | The MAS preserves culturally and historically sensitive Congolese heritage that numbers nearly 5,000 cultural objects. MAS staff, together with Congolese colleagues, investigated the circumstances under which this collection disappeared from Congo. The first results of the study were on display in the Visible Storage.

The MAS exhibit, 'Cool Japan', took you on a whirlwind tour of the global fascination for Japanese visual culture with icons such as Hello Kitty, Zelda and Sailor Moon.

Anybody home?

Looking for the sewer crocodile, listening to talking tableware, playing board games or drawing on the walls.... In the playful new family exhibition "Anybody home?" you will explore the MAS collection together with your (grand) children. You reflect on what a 'home' means. And one thing can already be revealed: it is different for everyone.
